Santa Rosa de Lima School Philosophy
The following statement of philosophy was written in 1992. each year it is reviewed by the faculty and was revised in August 1996. Because it is such a well developed philosophy, the faculty has chosen to keep it as written.
The faculty of Santa Rosa de Lima School, in collaboration with the parents as the primary educator and guided by the Holy Spirit, strive to give its children a complete Catholic education by providing and encouraging religious development, academic achievement, community services, personal and social growth, and physical and culture development.
We seek to integrate religious truths and vales with the experience of learning by opening the students mind to grow in awareness of his/her self-worth and of the sociotechnological world around them.
Through their Catholic values, the students will become responsible members of God’s family and society, thus fulfilling the Church’s mission:
“ The message revealed by God which the church proclaims, fellowship in the life of the Holy Spirit, service to the Christian community and the entire human community.”
